Build the brand.

Famus is a small team making the world's first ultra-premium energy drink. We're early, fast-moving, and deliberate about promoting from within — the people who build these territories become the leaders who run them.

Ground floor

Build a territory from zero, not inherit someone else's. First hires carry disproportionate influence — and upside.

Uncapped upside

$75k base plus new-account, on-premise, and re-stock incentives. Executing to plan should meaningfully exceed base.

Health coverage

Medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off and holidays.

Field support

Mileage/vehicle allowance and a sampling and promotional budget.

We have a signed distributor covering Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and Ohio and an active store rollout underway. What we need now is a commercial operator on the ground who can convert that distribution agreement into velocity — new doors opened, product on shelf, cold boxes reset, on-premise accounts pouring, and reorders landing on time.

This is a hunter role with an account-management spine. You'll be the face of Famus Energy across four states: opening convenience and independent retail accounts, selling into bars, restaurants, clubs, golf courses, and gyms, and owning the day-to-day relationship with our distributor partner so nothing stalls between the order and the shelf.

What you'll own

New account acquisition — convenience & retail

  • Prospect, pitch, and close new convenience store, gas station, grocery, liquor, and independent retail accounts across KY, TN, IN, and OH
  • Execute retail sell-in using our brand kit, sampling programs, and promotional allowances
  • Secure and defend premium placement: cold box position, shelf sets, POS materials, and secondary displays
  • Support the expansion of our existing test-store program into full chain and regional rollout

On-premise development

  • Build the on-premise book of business: bars, nightlife venues, restaurants, hotels, country clubs, golf courses, and fitness facilities
  • Sell Famus as both a standalone premium energy option and as a mixer program — train bar and beverage staff on cocktail applications and the resealable-can advantage
  • Run staff education sessions, tastings, and menu placement conversations with beverage directors and GMs

Distributor relationship management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for our regional distributor partner
  • Ride with distributor sales reps, run work-withs, and keep Famus top-of-mind in a crowded portfolio
  • Manage the order pipeline end to end: submit, track, and confirm orders; chase timely fulfillment; resolve delivery gaps, out-of-stocks, and short ships before they cost us a reorder
  • Monitor depletions, inventory levels, and pricing compliance; flag issues early and drive corrective action
  • Conduct regular business reviews with distributor management on performance against door and volume targets

Field execution & reporting

  • Maintain a consistent territory route with documented call frequency across key accounts
  • Track accounts, activity, and pipeline in CRM with discipline
  • Report weekly on new doors, on-premise wins, re-stock activity, competitive intel, and market feedback
  • Represent Famus Energy at regional events, samplings, and trade activations
  • Help coordinate market activation teams alongside the Chief Marketing Officer, ensuring sampling, event, and promotional activity aligns with account and distributor priorities on the ground

Compensation & benefits

  • Base salary: $75,000 annually, W-2
  • Meaningful incentive and SPIF program rewarding new store openings, new on-premise activations, and re-stock/reorder volume — new store and new on-premise placements carry a higher payout than re-stocks
  • Earnings potential is uncapped — a Regional Sales Lead executing to plan should meaningfully exceed base
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off and holidays
  • Mileage/vehicle allowance and a sampling and promotional budget

Advancement

This is a growth role in a growth company, and we are deliberate about promoting from within. The four-state territory this person builds will not stay a one-person territory. As door count scales, the Regional Sales Lead who proves the model is the natural candidate to advance into senior sales leadership — up through VP of Sales and, ultimately, SVP of Sales — hiring, training, and leading the reps who come next.

If you want a defined ladder with your name on the next rung, this is that role. Early team members at a brand at this stage carry disproportionate influence — and disproportionate upside.

What you bring

Required

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in the beverage or CPG industry
  • Demonstrated success selling into both convenience/retail and on-premise accounts — fluent in both channels, not one of the two
  • Direct experience working with and managing distributor relationships (DSD, beer/bev wholesalers, or broadline)
  • Track record of opening new accounts and hitting quantifiable door and volume targets
  • Comfort with cold calls, in-person prospecting, and long territory days
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and merchandise cases (up to 40 lbs) and reset cold boxes
  • Willingness to travel throughout Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and Ohio, including overnights

Preferred

  • Existing relationships with c-store chains, distributors, or on-premise buyers in the KY/TN/IN/OH corridor
  • Experience launching an emerging or challenger brand rather than managing an established one
  • Familiarity with the energy drink, functional beverage, or premium mixer category
  • CRM proficiency and comfort reporting on your own numbers

Who thrives here

Self-directed operators. Nobody is watching your calendar — we're watching your doors. If you need a manager to structure your week, this is the wrong role. If you've been the top rep on someone else's brand and want equity of effort in something you helped build, we should talk.

Compensation
$75,000 base + uncapped incentives

~50–60% locally in Tampa Bay, expanding statewide
Territory
Tampa/St. Pete launch market with statewide expansion responsibility

Florida is our flagship market. Beach, boat, pool deck, golf course, nightlife — a resealable premium energy can was designed for exactly this state. We have a statewide Florida distributor in place. What we need is the person who turns that agreement into a market.

You'll start in Tampa/St. Pete — building density in a concentrated, winnable footprint before extending into Orlando, Sarasota, Naples, Miami, and Jacksonville. This is genuine ground-floor work: you are the first commercial hire on the ground in the state, and the playbook you write in Tampa Bay becomes the model we run everywhere else in Florida.

This is a hunter role with an account-management spine. Convenience and retail doors by day, on-premise accounts by night, and constant ownership of the distributor relationship that connects the two.

What you'll own

New account acquisition — convenience & retail

  • Prospect, pitch, and close new convenience store, gas station, grocery, bodega, liquor, and independent retail accounts across Tampa Bay and outward
  • Execute retail sell-in using our brand kit, sampling programs, and promotional allowances
  • Secure and defend premium placement: cold box position, shelf sets, POS materials, and secondary displays
  • Build the account density that earns chain-level conversations across the state

On-premise development

  • Build the on-premise book: beach bars, nightlife and club venues, restaurants, hotels and resorts, marinas, country clubs, golf courses, and fitness facilities
  • Sell Famus as both a standalone premium energy option and as a mixer program — train bar and beverage staff on cocktail applications and the resealable-can advantage
  • Own tastings, staff education, and menu/well placement conversations with beverage directors, GMs, and ownership groups
  • Leverage Tampa Bay's hospitality density to build a reference list that opens doors in Miami and Orlando

Distributor relationship management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for our Florida distributor partner
  • Ride with distributor sales reps, run work-withs, and keep Famus top-of-mind in a crowded portfolio
  • Manage the order pipeline end to end: submit, track, and confirm orders; chase timely fulfillment; resolve delivery gaps, out-of-stocks, and short ships before they cost us a reorder
  • Monitor depletions, inventory levels, and pricing compliance; flag issues early and drive corrective action

  • Track accounts, activity, and pipeline in CRM with discipline
  • Report weekly on new doors, on-premise wins, re-stock activity, competitive intel, and market feedback
  • Represent Famus Energy at Florida events, festivals, samplings, and trade activations
  • Help coordinate market activation teams alongside the Chief Marketing Officer, ensuring sampling, event, and promotional activity aligns with account and distributor priorities on the ground

Compensation & benefits

  • Base salary: $75,000 annually, W-2

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off and holidays
  • Mileage/vehicle allowance and a sampling and promotional budget

Advancement

Florida will not be a one-person territory for long. The person who proves the Tampa Bay model is the natural candidate to advance into senior sales leadership — up through VP of Sales and, ultimately, SVP of Sales — hiring and leading the reps who cover Orlando, Miami, and Jacksonville, and taking broader ownership of the company's commercial strategy.

We are deliberate about promoting from within. First hires in a launch market carry disproportionate influence over how the company grows — and disproportionate upside when it does.

What you bring

Required

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in the beverage or CPG industry
  • Demonstrated success selling into both convenience/retail and on-premise accounts — fluent in both channels, not one of the two

  • Comfort with cold calls, in-person prospecting, and long territory days
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and merchandise cases (up to 40 lbs) and reset cold boxes
  • Availability for evening and weekend on-premise activity when the accounts are live

Preferred

  • Existing relationships with Florida c-store chains, distributors, or on-premise buyers — particularly in Tampa Bay hospitality and nightlife
  • Experience launching an emerging or challenger brand rather than managing an established one
  • Familiarity with the energy drink, functional beverage, or premium mixer category
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus as the territory extends south
  • CRM proficiency and comfort reporting on your own numbers
