The Havana Mojito: A Mint, Lime & Rum FAMUS Cocktail
For a Havana Mojito, fill a tall glass with ice, add 1oz white rum, top with 8oz chilled Havana Nights, and garnish with lime and fresh mint. For a zero-proof version, skip the rum. Adults 21+ should pace caffeinated cocktails because caffeine can mask how alcohol feels.
Havana Nights starts with a yuzu and mint mojito idea. Lime and cool mint give the drink its familiar shape, so the cocktail needs little more than a glass, ice and a measured pour.
The Havana Mojito
You need: a tall glass · ice · 1oz white rum, such as Bacardi · 8oz chilled Havana Nights · lime wheel · fresh mint
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Add 1oz white rum.
- Top with chilled Havana Nights.
- Finish with lime and fresh mint. Stir once, gently.
The cap is designed as a 1oz jigger, making the pour easy to measure.
Zero-proof version
Skip the rum. Pour Havana Nights over ice, add lime and mint, and top with a splash of soda water if you want a lighter drink. More ideas are in our zero-proof guide.
A note on responsible mixing
This drink combines caffeine and alcohol. Caffeine can mask how alcohol feels, so adults 21+ should pace themselves and drink water alongside it. Never drive after drinking. Eight ounces of Havana Nights is half a bottle and contains about 63mg of caffeine.
